I had the very great privilege of meeting you and Lisa a few years ago while you were living here in Nashville.....saw you at both the Franklin and Nashville locations of Cafe Milano. You were kind enough to sign a copy of your Love Education CD for my class of 5th graders, and let me tell you, we wore that CD out at school!! Lisa introduced me to her brother the night I saw you in Nashville, and he described your voice as that of an angel. He was absolutely right! Love your work, Jon, and love you! I've been a fan since the "On The Run" album came out. I listened to that album every day and it got me through a really tough time. I was pregnant but not married and felt very alone. I ended up giving my son up for adoption. I was so amazed when the couple who adopted him named him "Jonathan".
I have every one of your albums and they have seen me through many trials. I would love to see you in concert some day. God bless your music and ministry!

I have not been exposed to your music until tonight when I heard you sing at Trinity (I grew up overseas). I was so blessed by your message in the music that you sang. I was feeling so lost, so isolated, with no family support. I was blessed and reminded that God has been with me all along. Just want you to know that my soul is rejoicing and praising God.

Okay, so I thought I'd tell you that back in 1986 I played your CDs in my office at work and had a black coworker friend who insisted and SWORE you HAD to be black!! She absolutely refused to believe you were white - she really thought I was pulling her leg 'til finally a couple weeks later I brought in the CD cover to show her your picture and she could hardly believe it:) It was just so hilarious 'cuz she couldn't deny that you've got some real rhythm!

Can't Live Without Jesus has always been my favorite. I have had it on a cassette accompaniment track for years. It is availble on a CD accompaniment track. I used to sing it solo in church almost every Sunday in the early nineties. I would like to purchase the accompaniment CD track if it is availble. I love the message of this song. It reminds me of my first love in Christ.

I am so glad I found this site! The "Forever Friends" album got me through some of my toughest times many years ago. Feeling abandoned by family and friends, feeling misunderstood and alone, I could listen to music and lyrics that challenged me to remember that my heavenly Father could love me like no other, and I found true joy in my faith- as well as pride in the kind of music a love of God had inspired in a fellow Christian! The first time I remember seeing you and hearing that voice was in 1999. Some Christian/Gospel artists came together to for a free concert (to offer hope and encouragement to flood victims in Greenville, NC on the campus of ECU). We saw a talented man who loves God and his family on that stage. We also saw a man who is able to roll with the punches after you decided to play the piano when your track had problems. You really blessed us and I never forgot that. Keep going, my brother. I look forward to more music. Be blessed.

Looking for sheet music to your arrangement of "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" from "Soulful Hymns" as my mom is currently in Hospice and I would love to do your version at her funeral. I was looking for a more righteous form of music and I came across your music from a friend. Since then, I have bought just about everything that you have created. All my music back then, I'm 44 now, was on cassett tapes--long lost by now. I'm one of the many people in England who love your music. I regularly listen to UCB UK who often play your songs - especially those from Love Education. Thankyou for producing such soulful worhip music, that really helps me draw closer to God.
I would love to encourage you to do some concerts here (although I know you have other commitments including a young family). The UK is changing, and CCM now has a greater influence - we recently had Michael W Smith & Israel Houghton here at "The Big Church Day Out" organised by Tim Jupp from Delirious, and the response was phenomenal - such as he is back next year (the event was so over subscribed, it will now be held on three days)! Also, as of this year, Christian radio has gone national for the 1st time!
