Been a fan for some time. You did a gig at a food court in Irvine in the early eighties I attended. Bought "Standing on the One" @ Maranatha Village (Vinyl) shortly after (still have it in my collection). Jumping forward - I have a copy of "Love Education" in my car but it gets me in trouble with the wife, as I play "Possessed by Love" over & over until it drives her crazy in -a good way! :-)

I woke up last week singing Found A Home for two days. I hadn't really thought about Jon since the 80s when I promoted a couple of concerts in San Fernando Valley and worked with Home Front Church Pastor Ed (where is he now). Anyway decided to YouTube Jon to see what he was up to now. Listened to Found a Home and cried the entire song. You see after 13 years of believing for a vision, which seems impossible, to come to pass I realized I was finally in the promised land (Santa Barbara) and see the beginning edges of it coming together. Found a Home. God was saying you're finally home. This is going to come to pass. All He promises. All He says. He is Faithful and True. I pray Jon is well and happy. Doing what God created him to do. Just wanted to let you know I've appreciated your music, musicianship and messages since your first album came out. Can't wait to get your new release. My husband and I just saw you on the Michael English show. It was refreshing to see an artist trying to pour themselves into ministry and going against the grain of the music industry. You know your direction in life. We were very impressed with the path you have chosen, and the new direction of your ministry-where you aren't hoarding what you've been given like so many artist, but rather giving it back. It was beautiful how you said that the more you seem to give away, the more it keeps coming back.

When I first heard Jon Gibsons music I knew I found music that connected with my soul. I remember waiting to hear him at Ocean Grove NJ. He came on late and I cherished each song done. His style as well as his message are tops.

Many years ago I discovered "Body and Soul" and my heart was awakened to itself in the understanding that there was more of God than I had ever known before. A hunger for Him had been with me since I was very small. But I never really saw much evidence of Him, nor had ever experienced Him in any real way until very recently in my life.
Having recently re-discovered "Body and Soul" as well as some of your newer music, I realize how much your music resonated in my heart at a time when the emptiness in me was calling out to Him,and there was no one in my life who could relate to that. But your music seemed to touch on that. Now, many years later, as that emptiness is starting to be filled with Him, I find new comfort in your music as I look around STILL finding no one in my life who can relate to the desperate seeking in my heart. "In The Name of the Lord" is one of those songs that I feel kindred to, as well as "You can't Live Without Jesus." I've enjoyed your music immensely and hope you feel encouraged to keep at it!

I remember visiting my college roommate who was living in Costa Mesa at the ime and we visited a coffee shop that was owned by JG. It seemed to have a good ministry with non believing musicians who would come and play in the evening. It is good to see that you are still in the music scene. we dont get you up here in Oregon anymore. the christian music industry seems very insulated and inbred.

I've been a fan since the "On The Run" album came out. I listened to that album every day and it got me through a really tough time. I was pregnant but not married and felt very alone. I ended up giving my son up for adoption. I was so amazed when the couple who adopted him named him "Jonathan".
I have every one of your albums and they have seen me through many trials. I would love to see you in concert some day. God bless your music and ministry!

I have not been exposed to your music until tonight when I heard you sing at Trinity (I grew up overseas). I was so blessed by your message in the music that you sang.
